1️⃣ Allow camera access for this website in Safari
Even if your Mac allows camera access, Safari controls permissions per website.
Open Safari
Go to our website
Click Safari → Settings → Websites
Select Camera from the left sidebar
Find our website and set it to Allow
Refresh the page
👉 If our site is not listed, set
“When visiting other websites” → Ask, then reload the page.
2️⃣ Check the address bar for a blocked camera
When our site is open:
Look at the left side of the address bar
If you see a camera icon with a slash, Safari is blocking access
Click it and choose Allow Camera
Then refresh the page.
3️⃣ Quit and reopen Safari
Safari sometimes won’t re-request camera access unless it’s fully restarted.
Click Safari → Quit Safari
Reopen Safari
Go back to our site and try again
(Closing the window is not enough — Safari must be fully quit.)
4️⃣ Confirm macOS camera permissions
Click the Apple menu
Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security
Click Camera
Make sure Safari is turned ON
If Safari is not listed, reopen Safari and visit our site again.
5️⃣ Test your camera outside our product
This helps confirm whether the issue is Safari or your system.
Try opening:
Photo Booth, or
FaceTime
If the camera does not work there either, this is likely a macOS or hardware issue.
If it works, continue with the steps below.
6️⃣ Check Screen Time restrictions (often overlooked)
Go to System Settings → Screen Time
Click Content & Privacy
Make sure:
Camera access is allowed
Safari is not restricted
7️⃣ Temporarily disable Safari extensions
Privacy tools and content blockers can prevent camera access.
Open Safari → Settings → Extensions
Turn all extensions OFF
Reload our site and try again
If it works, re-enable extensions one at a time to find the cause.
8️⃣ Make sure you’re using HTTPS
Safari requires a secure (HTTPS) connection to access the camera.
Confirm the site URL starts with
https://If you see a warning or “Not Secure,” the camera will not work
