What Are Tasks?
Tasks are to-do items you can create and track in the CRM. You can assign them to yourself or another team member to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
🔹 How to Create a Task
Go to a contact, opportunity, or partner record
If you are on the pipeline view, click the pencil action item
If you are in a contact/opportunity/partner record, click the task icon on the right
Click Add Task from the side bar task item
Enter:
Click Save
You’ll see the task added to the timeline on the side panel.
🔹 Completing a Task
When a task is finished:
Click the checkbox next to the task
It will be marked as completed and stay on the timeline for reference
🔹 Where Tasks Appear
Tasks live in two places:
On the timeline of the record they’re tied to (Contact, Opportunity, or Partner) - on the sidebar icon panel
In your Tasks View — where you can see everything assigned to you
🔹 Can I Edit or Delete a Task?
Yes:

Use clear task names (e.g., “Call client about proposal” not just “Call”)
Set realistic due dates to stay on track
Check your Tasks View each morning to plan your day
